Fishing
Fishing in the Ozarks
A
day of striper fishing begins with a departure from the Henderson
boat dock. Time and fishing location usually depends upon the time
of year. Red will check you out on all the equipment and safety procedures
before leaving the dock. Different seasons will call for different
methods of fishing. Some time live bait works best and other times
artificial bait works best. We will fish the method that will produce
the best results. At the end of the trip, we will return to the marina
where the fish are cleaned and packaged.
Different seasons will also determine the length of productive time fishing each
day. Warm water months usually mean a good early morning bite with a fair to
good evening bite. Cold-water months usually mean a good all day bite. Moon phases
and weather fronts will play a part in how productive a trip will be.
Trout Fishing
Our river guides have grown up trout fishing the White and Norfork rivers. Years of experience has given them the edge when locating trophy fish anglers are looking for. The White and Norfork rivers are known all over the world for the Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat, and Brook trout. These rivers have produced several world record Brown trout. Please go to the “Rates” page for a listing of available trout fishing packages offered.
